Robin Price, Printer & Publisher, recently released her latest finely printed book. Love in The Time of War contains 25 poems by Pulitzer Prize winner Yusef Komunyakaa. The poems are printed letterpress with silver ink onto individually painted, hand-dyed silk. Watch a video about the silk-staining process. The aluminum covers are etched with a pattern derived from camouflage fabric. Torn and cut glassine inserts are embedded within foredge-folded sheets to provide an acoustic element to the reading experience. Now available for request in Arts Library Special Collections.
