Voyager Support

Voyager is the Integrated Library System (ILS) used by YUL for over 12 years. Locally referred to as Orbis, it includes:

  • The online library catalog (OPAC)
  • Staff Acquisitions module
  • Staff Cataloging module
  • Staff Circulation module
  • Desktop reporting tools
  • Software integration protocols and APIs that allow other services such as Borrow Direct and the Library Shelving Facility to interact with our users and collections

Timeline

YUL implemented Voyager between 2001 and 2002. The current software version is 8.1 with no immediate plans to upgrade.
