Aeon is an inventory and request tracking system for special collections. It provides a user registration database, advanced requesting of special collections materials, and point to point tracking of where an item is within a special collections library or between LSF and a special collections library. The current production version is 3.4. Recent activities include a system upgrade in October 2013, integration of the LSF Barcode Lookup tool into Aeon request workflows, and a migration of the server from library hosted to University ITS hosted (Dec 2013/Jan 2014).
