Access to Capital IQ

Capital IQ is available to authorized users of Yale University (including students, faculty, researchers and staff) for non-commercial academic research.

 

To access, users must be on campus or on the Yale VPN and create and log-in with an individual @yale.edu email address and password.

 

By creating an account using your @yale.edu email address, you agree to not license, sublicense, transfer, sell, resell, publish, reproduce, and/or otherwise redistribute these materials or knowingly provide access to this content to non-authorized users. Sharing of usernames and passwords is prohibited. Data downloaded to desktops/computing devices is intended for personal use and should not be shared or stored in directories/systems that may be accessed by others. 

 

First-time users, proceed to the Capital IQ site while on campus or connected remotely via VPN client and click on the “New User” link on the upper right hand corner of the site to initiate the registration process. 

 

Note: When updating your personal information during the account registration process, please select the appropriate group from the “Choose your department” dropdown menu. The current options are:  Graduate Student, Undergraduate Student, Faculty, Staff, or Researcher (for Post-Docs and other Research Associates).
