Digital Tutorial Advisory Group (DTAG)

Committee Charge: The Digital Tutorial Advisory Group develops sets standards for instructional videos (and other digital media) that assist in and supplement research and instructional support services at Yale University Library. Digital tutorials address library concepts and procedures, information literacy, and access for library specific resources. The Advisory Group will provide best practice documentation, accessibility standards, and training for digital/video tutorial creation to ensure that the videos can effectively be used in various teaching and learning contexts and platforms. The group will also be in charge of maintaining and monitoring videos, including their use and statistics, around Yale Library to ensure that tutorials meet the research and operational goals of the library.
 
Frequency of Meetings: Monthly
 

Membership: The Digital Tutorial Advisory Group will consist of no more than 6 members and include representatives from units across campus, including, but not limited to, the following libraries and departments: Arts, Bass, DASHRS, Marx, Medical, Music, Special Collections, Poorvu Center for Teaching and Learning, and Yale Library Communications (ex-officio).

The current representative from Proovu Center for Teaching and Learning is Clare Ankawi (clare.ankawi@yale.edu).
