Committee Charge: The Online Exhibitions Committee (OEC) offers services that provide support for rich and engaging online exhibitions crafted from YUL collection materials. Currently, this platform is Omeka S, open-source software created and sustained by Digital Scholar and enhanced by the Omeka community.
Frequency of Meetings: Monthly or as needed
Member Selection Method: Membership of 7–10 people from across YUL, with the intent to always represent a variety of units. Some members are drawn from our user group, others from technical groups. New members are identified and selected from by OEC, using recommendations solicited from listservs and OEC members. Active online exhibit curators are often invited to join the committee.
Term of Service: Two years with option for renewal
