Music Library: Oral History of American Music
Anne Rhodes serves as Research Archivist for Oral History of American Music (OHAM) in The Irving S. Gilmore Music Library. OHAM is an ongoing archival collection of original and acquired oral history interviews with American composers and musicians. Rhodes handles arrangement and description of born-digital material and provides reference assistance for audivisual material and transcripts. Her active career as a classically-trained vocalist, specializing experimental music, supports her subject knowledge. In addition to an MLIS from University of Illinois, Rhodes holds a B.Mus. in Voice Performance from Boston University and an MA in Experimental Music Performance from Wesleyan University.
