“Name of group/s with which a person is affiliated or has been affiliated through employment, membership, cultural identity, etc. For personal names, prefer a controlled vocabulary, such as the LC/NACO Authority File.”
Prefer the NAF form; if so use ‡2 naf
Does NOT have to have an AAP for the name, but should be formulated as RDA, e.g. spell out Department (but no ‡2 naf)
Formerly called Affiliation (redefined to include corporate body relationships as well as personal name relationships)
