Ministry Resource Center

The Ministry Resource Center brings together the study of theology and the practice of ministry. The center serves congregations and agencies, their leaders, and the faculty and students of Yale Divinity School.

The staff of the Ministry Resource Center helps individuals develop and implement ministries. We are here to:

  • Consult about ideas and issues in ministry
  • Guide you through resources for ministry programs, community outreach, and pastoral and congregational care issues
  • Provide workshops led by professionals in program ministries to meet you or your congregation's particular needs
  • Connect you to print and audiovisual resources for all ages and occasions

The Ministry Resource Center offers a wide array of materials, most of which may be accessed through Orbis, the Yale University Library online catalog.

The Ministry Resource Center is located in the Yale Divinity School Library. We invite you to learn more about us in person, whether you simply want to browse our materials or have a chat. Bring your children, who can enjoy our games, books, puzzles, and costumes while you learn more. Enjoy previewing music CDs, DVDs on a variety of topics, audio lectures or even the Bible on CD.

It is not necessary to make an appointment, but if you would like to call ahead (203-432-5319) or email (ministry.resource.center@yale.edu) to let us know a subject you are interested in, we can get materials ready for you to explore.
