LSF 1 and LSF 2: Dual Vehicles for Special Collection Deliveries

Between FY 10 and FY 15, special collection traffic transported by LCS increased by 35%.  During the same period several new stops were added to the delivery route and additional service involving the transport of selected materials not shelved at LSF was introduced. In 2016 the combination of these two factors--escalating workloads and increasingly complex delivery patterns--necessitated splitting special collection deliveries onto two separate vehicles.  The following chart indicates the service points for each of these vehicles (designated as LSF 1 and LSF 2) and the order that deliveries are made throughout the day.
