Fall Screening Schedule

The Yale Film Archive announces a new slate of films for the fall of 2023, all free and open to the public. Screenings take place in the recently-constructed cinema spaces in the Yale Humanities Quadrangle, located at 320 York Street, between Elm and Grove in New Haven.
Fall Series
- Treasures from the Yale Film Archive [1], an ongoing series of classic and contemporary films from our collection.
- Early Ousmane Sembène: The First Films from the Father of African Cinema [2], co-presented with the Whitney Humanities Center in celebration of the centenary of Sembène's birth.
- Art & Protest [3], co-presented with the Beinecke Rare Book & Manuscript Library in conjunction with their exhibition Art, Protest, & the Archives [4], on view through January 7.
- Boleyn & Beyond [5], presented in conjunction with the exhibition Anne Boleyn: Life and Legend, on view in Sterling Memorial Library from October 16 through April 21.
