LSF Transfers: Mapping for Items Types

An automated program runs each day to update the locations (permanent and MFHD) for materials accessioned at LSF on that day. In order for the program to work properly, the item type in the item record for each volume transferred must have been changed to an lsf item type (lsfc, lsfr, lsfi) prior to the time the program runs.  Item types can be updated by on-campus processors in one of two ways: either individually or as part of a batch process using pick and scan.  In the latter workflow, staff at LSF provide on-campus partners with a file of barcodes that will be used to update records. 

The lists provided here indicate what the Voyager location code will be once the update is completed.
