View finding aid in Archives at Yale
Abbie G. Sanderson was an American Baptist missionary in South China from 1918 to 1937 and 1946 to 1953. She later taught at a girls' school in Sendai, Japan, and retired in 1959. Detailed family correspondence, writings, and collected material document the life and work of a single woman missionary in South China.
Photographs from the Sanderson Papers are available in theĀ International Mission Photography Archive.
Thanks to a project sponsored by The Center for Christian Studies, Shantou University, digital files are available for the following portions of the Sanderson papers: Box 1, Folder 1 to Box 8, Folder 69.
If you have questions about this collection, or need help accessing its materials, please contact the Divinity LIbrary.
