License Review Advisory Group
Charge: The License Review Advisory Group supports the work of the License Review Steering Committee (LRSC) and has the primary responsibility for monitoring operational issues. The group will also maintain systems and ensure consistent workflow, document management, and retention for Yale Library license agreements. The Advisory Group will also provide recommendations and information to LRSC on relevant topics.
Meeting Schedule: As needed to address workflow issues.
The charge includes:
- Consulting as needed with selectors concerning costs and business terms;
- Monitoring the licensing workflow through execution;
- Working collaboratively to develop and modify the licensing workflow to meet new needs over time;
- Implementing procedures to ensure long-term document retention and retrievability;
- Disseminating uncommon agreement terms to LRSC for review and informational purposes where appropriate.
Term of Service: Ongoing and typically tied to their position responsibilities.
Membership:
- LRSC Chair
- Director of Electronic Resources and Serials Management
- Manager of E-Resources Acquisitions
- Other members of LRSC invited as necessary
- Collection strategists or managers invited as necessary
