On June 27-29 the Yale Divinity Library is hosting a conference of the Yale-Edinburgh Group on the History of the Missionary Movement and World Christianity. Seventy-five scholars from around the world will meet to discuss the theme “Health, Healing, and Medicine in the History of Christian Missions and World Christianity.” The public is invited to attend the Divinity Library’s Day Associates Lecture, which will be presented on Friday, June 28th, at 5:15 p.m. in Niebuhr Hall. J. Nelson Jennings, Executive Director of the Overseas Ministries Study Center, will lecture on the topic “”For the Healing of the Nations': Religious Visions, Subterranean Universes, and Cross-Cultural Encounters.”
