Time flies. It is one year since Susan Gibbons announced a digital strategy for Yale University Library, addressing issues of policy and governance, technical infrastructure, and metadata standards. There's a lot more to digitization than meets the eye, such as the need for digital preservation and the navigation of legal issues.
