Poetry Lock by Job Koelewijn will be included in the fall exhibit Beyond the Codex: Sculptural Book Objects from the Arts of the Book Collection. This is a companion exhibit to the student-curated exhibit at the Yale University Art Gallery, Odd Volumes: Book Arts from the Allan Chasanoff Collection, on view starting in October 2014.
The Haas Family Arts Library actively supports research of the Yale University Art Gallery in addition to arts-area research by members of the Yale, national, and international communities. Beyond the Codex features works in the Arts Library's collections by artists selected for inclusion in Odd Volumes as well as artists not represented at YUAG, thus highlighting the complementary nature of the Arts of the Book Collection and the Art Gallery's Allan Chasanoff Collection.
