Online Exhibitions Advisory Group

Reports To: Special Collections Steering Committee 

Committee Charge: The Online Exhibitions Advisory Group offers services that provide support for rich and engaging online exhibitions crafted from Yale Library collection materials. The working group implements policies and procedures relating to the Yale Library online exhibitions platform. Currently, this platform is Omeka S, open-source software created and sustained by Digital Scholar and enhanced by the Omeka community. 

Frequency of Meetings: Monthly or as needed 

Member Selection Method: Membership of 7–10 people from across Yale Library, with the intent to always represent a variety of units. Some members are drawn from our user group, others from technical groups. New members are identified and selected from by the working group, using recommendations solicited from listservs and current members. Active online exhibit curators are often invited to join the committee. 

Term of Service: Two years with option for renewal
