Depositing Official Yale Publications
While university schools, departments, and offices may place their publications in selected subject or school libraries on campus, and some departments may have established their own "archives," it is critical that the University Archives, the official repository for university records, also receive copies of publications appropriate for the Yale publications collection (see Publications Appropriate for Deposit for more information). Two copies of each publication should be sent to the Archives.
If your office or organization has not been sending publications regularly to the Archives, please help establish a complete set of each publication by sending back issues as well as current and future issues to the Archives. If you are discarding unused sets of Yale publications, whether from your office of from elsewhere in the University, please check with the Archives in case you have issues that can supplement the official university set.
