I am very excited to be part of the Bioinformatics Support Group at the Yale Cushing/Whitney Medical Library as their Simbonis Bioinformatics Fellow. I have more than 10 years of experience as a biomedical researcher, and while working on my PhD, I developed a passion for Bioinformatic Analysis. Even though my training was purely in the biological sciences, I taught myself coding and scripting to analyze large, Next Generation Sequencing datasets to advance my research. Due to my unique "damp lab" experience (expertise in both bench-side techniques and in-silico data analyses) I have a holistic approach towards data analysis.
