Reading Week recharging at the Arts Library

The Arts Library will have puzzles and coloring books available at the desk for students to borrow throughout Reading Week. We are also offering a drop-in meditation session from 8-9 pm on Monday, December 12, and a visit from Louie the therapy dog from noon to 2 pm on Tuesday, December 13.

30 Years of Artspace Archives to be housed at Arts Library

The Robert B. Haas Family Arts Library at Yale University is pleased to announce the acquisition of the archives of Artspace, New Haven’s vibrant non-profit organization for contemporary art. Artspace is currently celebrating its 30th anniversary, and the archive will preserve its legacy of connecting contemporary artists, local audiences, and community resources.

The International Festival of Arts & Ideas

The 21st International Festival of Arts & Ideas descends on New Haven for a 16-day celebration of arts and culture.  This year’s festival, held from June 10th-25th, is comprised of performances, lectures, and exhibitions from a diverse and dynamic lineup of participants.  The festival’s mission, “to create an internationally renowned festival in New Haven of the highest quality with world-class artists, thinkers and leaders…” promotes uniquely international and arts-rich programming.
