Save the date for the Yale Day of Data

Save the date for the 2015 Day of Data conference on September 18! The theme this year will be innovation and research collaboration currently underway among partners across Yale. Presentations will focus on data produced and analyzed in the sciences, social sciences, humanities, and medicine. Topics and examples of best practices in data collection, analysis, processing, management, storage and sharing will be discussed.

The speakers include Robert Grossman, Director of the Center for Data Intensive Science at the University of Chicago; and Chaitan Baru, Senior Advisor for Data Science, CISE, NSF.

The event is sponsored by the Yale University Library, Yale Information Technology Services, the School of Forestry & Environmental Studies, the Institution for Social & Policy Studies, the Institute for Network Science, and the Office of the Provost. All are welcome to attend.
